HAIR LOSS, ALOPECIA- TRY PUMPKIN SEEDS

pumpkin-seeds-fbAn astonishing recent scientific study from the Republic of Korea has found that supplementation with pumpkin seed oil caused significant hair growth in men with Androgenetic Alopecia or male pattern baldness. In the study that used a placebo-controlled double-blind method, 75 men consumed either a placebo or 400mg of pumpkin seed oil per day (4 doses of 100mg daily) for 24 weeks. The average hair count increased by an amazing 40% in the men treated with pumpkin seed oil at 24 weeks. No Negative effect came with the pumpkin seed oil. The study concluded that pumpkin seed oil is a safe, effective agent for the treatment of male pattern baldness.
Besides their effect on hair growth, pumpkin seeds are a nutritional powerhouse. Previous studies have indicated that they may be beneficial for prostate health, arthritis, diabetes, restful sleep and more. They are rich in zinc, iron, and magnesium. They are also a good source of Omega-3s fatty acids; they are good for prostate health, and they are also anti-inflammatory.
Consume them normally and toss them over a salad, sprinkle them on savory foods like mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, or blend them into smoothies. Be sure to get the organic ones. They have the highest nutritional content.
