ज्यादा दूध पीना सेहत पर उल्टा असर .TOO MUCH MILD DANGEROUS

रोजाना एक निश्चित मात्रा से ज्यादा दूध पीना सेहत पर उल्टा असर डाल सकता है।एक ताजा शोध में यह निष्कर्ष निकाला गया है।स्वीडन की अपसला यूनिवर्सिटी के प्रोफेसर कार्ल माइकल्सन की अगुआई में शोधकर्ताओं ने यह दावा किया है। शोध में कहा गया है कि रोजाना डेढ़ पिंट (करीब 700 मिली) से ज्यादा दूध पीना आपकी उम्र घटा सकता है। यह अध्ययन 39 से 74 वर्ष की 61,433 महिलाओं और 45 से 79 वर्ष के 45,339 पुरुषों पर 20 साल से अधिक समय के दौरान किया गया।शोधकर्ताओं ने पाया कि रोजाना डेढ़ पिंट या इससे ज्यादा दूध पीने वालों में कम दूध पीने वालों की तुलना में जल्द मौत की आशंका देखी गई। शोध के अनुसार, ऐसी महिलाएं जो दिन में तीन ग्लास (करीब 680 मिली) या इससे ज्यादा दूध पीती हैं, उनमें रोजाना एक ग्लास के कम दूध पीने वाली महिलाओं की तुलना में जल्दी मरने की आशंका पाई गई। पुरुषों पर भी ज्यादा दूध के सेवन का कोई सकारात्मक प्रभाव नहीं देखा गया।क्या है मिथक दूध एक संपूर्ण भोजन है दूध का सेवन उम्र और सेहत के लिए फायदेमंद दूध के इस्तेमाल से हड्डियां मजबूत होती हैं इसके सेवन से फ्रैक्चर का खतरा कम होता हैक्या कहता है शोध दूध के सेवन से हड्डियों की मजबूती की बात गलत फ्रैक्चर की आशंका में नहीं आती कोई कमी दूध में मौजूद लैक्टोज और गैलेक्टोज शुगर घटाता है

But it is the health properties of Turmeric which are a relatively new discovery in the western world, with more and more research being done into the medicinal qualities of the mildly fragranced, gentle-tasting spice.

Ethnobotanist James A. Duke, Phd, published a comprehensive study on Turmeric in the October, 2007 issue of Alternative & Complementary Therapies.
Duke found more than 50 studies on turmeric's effects in addressing Alzheimer's disease. The reports indicate that extracts of turmeric contain a number of natural agents that block the formation of beta-amyloid, the substance responsible for the plaques that slowly obstruct cerebral function in Alzheimer's disease.
Breast Cancer: Curcumin (an active ingredient in Turmeric) has been shown to kill cancer cells in laboratories, and prevent more from growing. A 2007 American study that combined curcumin with chemotherapy to treat bowel cancer cells in a laboratory showed that the combined treatment killed more cancer cells than the chemotherapy alone. A 2007 American study in mice seemed to show that Curcumin helped to stop the spread of breast cancer cells to other parts of the body.

Health Benefits of Turmeric:
The wide range of turmeric health benefits come mainly from its main ingredient, curcumin. This widely researched component of turmeric is highly therapeutic and is used in various drugs and pharmaceutics mainly because of its immunity boosting and anti-oxidant properties. Apart from therapeutic uses, turmeric is also used as an important spice, in beauty products and in spiritual ceremonies.
Blocking cancer:
Doctors at UCLA recently found that curcumin, the main component in turmeric, appeared to block an enzyme that promotes the growth of head and neck cancer.
In that study, 21 subjects with head and neck cancers chewed two tablets containing 1,000 milligrams of curcumin. An independent lab in Maryland evaluated the results and found that the cancer-promoting enzymes in the patients’ mouths were inhibited by the curcumin and thus prevented from advancing the spread of the malignant cells.
Powerful antioxidant:
The University of Maryland’s Medical Center also states that turmeric’s powerful antioxidant properties fight cancer-causing free radicals, reducing or preventing some of the damage they can cause.
While more research is necessary, early studies have indicated that curcumin may help prevent or treat several types of cancer including prostate, skin and colon.
Potent anti-inflammatory:
Dr. Randy J. Horwitz, the medical director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine and an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, wrote a paper for the American Academy of Pain Management in which he discussed the health benefits of turmeric.
“Turmeric is one of the most potent natural anti-inflammatories available,” Horwitz states in the paper.
He went on to cite a 2006 University of Arizona study that examined the effect of turmeric on rats with injected rheumatoid arthritis. According to Horwitz, pretreatment with turmeric completely inhibited the onset of rheumatoid arthritis in the rats. In addition, the study found that using turmeric for pre-existing rheumatoid arthritis resulted in a significant reduction of symptoms.

The process could lead to new treatments for diseases by using a patient’s own DNA, rather than embryonic stem cellsScientists at the Research Institute for Stem Cell Research at CHA Health Systems in Los Angeles have produced human stem cells from adult cells. The process could lead to new treatments for diseases by using a patient’s own DNA, rather than embryonic stem cells. The findings were published online on April 17 in the journal Cell Stem Cell.
The investigators used a technique known as somatic-cell nuclear transfer, or therapeutic cloning, whereby embryonic cells genetically identical to a donor are created. If confirmed by other studies, it could prove to be a significant advance because many illnesses that might one day be treated with stem cells, such as heart failure and vision loss Patient-specific stem cells would be created from older cells, not infant or fetal ones. Patient-specific cell lines from the  skin cells of two adult men. However, the process needs refinement. Out of 39 attempts, the researchers were successful only once for each donor.

In therapeutic cloning, scientists use a jolt of electricity to fuse a grown cell, usually a skin cell, with an ovum (egg) whose own DNA has been removed. The ovum divides and multiplies, and within five or six days it develops into an embryo. The interior cells are “pluripotent” stem cells, which have the potential to develop into any kind of human cell. The goal is to grow these embryonic stem cells in laboratory dishes and coax them to develop into specialized cells for therapeutic use against an illness the DNA donor has, such as heart disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis or type 1 diabetes. The cells are genetically identical to the donor's; therefore, they would not be rejected by the immune system.
Other researchers have produced pluripotent stem cells from skin cells. In December 2011, scientists at the Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research at UCLA announced that, by using a specially designed facility, they had reprogrammed human skin cells to be pluripotent and then differentiated them into neurons, using animal origin-free reagents and feeder conditions throughout the process. The Broad center researchers also developed a set of standard operating procedures for the process, so other scientists can benefit from the derivation and differentiation techniques performed under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocols. GMP protocols are tightly controlled and regulated so the cells created meet all the standards required for use in human beings. Currently, four significant stem cell projects are underway at UCLA.

STEM CELL FOR DIABETES TYPE 1 CURE

Stem cell research has brought a possible diabetes cure to within three years.

Insulin pump with infusion setAccording to a Thursday story in National Geographic a researcher named Doug Melton is on the brink of curing DIABETES TYPE 1. Melton, a professor at Harvard University, has developed a way to make an unlimited supply of beta cells that the body uses to create INSULIN using  STEM CELLS, and protecting them against the body’s immune system. Insulin processes glucose in the human blood stream that otherwise would be toxic.
About three million Americans suffer from Type 1 Diabetes, a condition that occurs when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the beta cells in the pancreas. Diabetics are obliged to take regular infusions of insulin, either by injection or through a pump. Nevertheless, people who suffer from the disease are prone to nerve damage that can lead to blindness, foot amputations, and even premature death.

Beta cell transplants have already had limited use for treating diabetes. Unfortunately, since such transplants come from dead donors, recipients are obliged to take anti-rejection medication for the rest of their lives. However, since tissue created by stem cells have the same DNA makeup of the people receiving it, the problem of rejection is avoided.

The second part of the cure consists of finding a way to protect the new beta cells so that they will not be destroyed by the body’s immune system once they are implanted. One approach involves an implantable device that would coat the new beta cells with a substance similar to algae so that immune cells would not stick to them. The other approach involves encapsulation, protecting the beta cells in a capsule that admits blood glucose but not immune cells.
The process has worked remarkably well in rodent studies. Government approval of human testing is about a year away. Two years of testing beyond that lays ahead before the treatment can be made widely available. If and when the stem cell treatment is available, millions will be liberated from regular injections of insulin and monitoring of blood glucose levels that are the lot of people with type 1 diabetes.

“We are now just one pre-clinical step away from the finish line,” Melton.stated. "It was gratifying to know that we can do something that we always thought was possible.”
The stem cell-derived beta cells are presently undergoing trials in animal models, including non-human primates, where they are still producing insulin after several months.
Diabetes currently affects more than 347 million people worldwide (10% of whom suffer from Type 1 diabetes developed in childhood)), and can lead to numerous health problems from neuropathy to heart and kidney disease, as well as blindness, etc.

The Independent reported on Saturday that the genetically engineered stem cells proved to be so effective on mice that experts now believe that the treatment could become a major breakthrough in cancer research. The study was published in the journal Stem Cell.
While using toxins to fight cancer is fairly common, the scientists behind the study innovated in their development of a stem cell that not only deploys the right kind of toxin, but doesn’t succumb to the effects of the toxin itself. The toxin is also safe for normal healthy cells to be in contact with. Dr Khalid Shaw, who led the research team which was composed of scientists from both Massachusetts General Hospital and the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, said: “Cancer-killing toxins have been used with great success in a variety of blood cancers, but they don’t work as well in solid tumors because the cancers aren’t as accessible.”
 
In order to get enough of the cancer-killing toxins into affected but inaccessible areas, the team needed to develop a delivery system that could produce the toxins but wouldn’t be harmed by them. “A few years ago we recognized that stem cells could be used to continuously deliver these therapeutic toxins to tumors in the brain, but first we needed to genetically engineer stem cells that could resist being killed themselves by the toxins,” said Shah. Once the team had developed a form of cell that could resist the toxin it produced, the scientists got to work deploying it. To get at the cancer, the scientists first surgically removed the bulk of the tumor before placing the stem cells in a biodegradable gel pouch in the tumor site. After the gel dissolved, the stem cells got to work producing the cancer-killing toxin.
According to BBC, the treatment is getting excited responses from many in the fields of stem cell research and cancer treatment. Nell Barrie, senior science information manager for Cancer Research UK, called the treatment an “ingenious approach,” while Chris Mason, professor of regenerative medicine at University College London, suggested that the research “signals the beginning of the next wave of therapies.” Dr. Shah currently plans to continue testing on mice with different forms of cancer. If that stage goes well, he hopes to move on to clinical trials in the next five years.

  3. Liver and Gallbladder Cleanse. Next, I have the client continue with the liver tea or a general detox tea but have them eat a simpler diet with lots of veggies and no oil or fat in the diet. I also add another Ayuvedic powder to helps soften any stones. Then I have the person take a veggie concoction each morning with includes lemon juice, garlic and ginger at various amounts with 1 Tablespoon of olive or flax oil. Advantages – This exercise is a remedy for belly and digestive
ailments. The chest and hands become strong and your body grows to be well balanced. Also, diseases of the feet and fingers are set right.

Breathe in and drag your right leg backward, with the knee and fingers of the foot touching the floor. Press hard the abdomen and belly such that they touch the left leg. Now raise your head as high as possible and look upward. Hold breath and resume in the posture for sometime.

Advantages – As this exercise stretches the small intestine and the seminal vesicles, it is a good remedy for constipation and diseases of the liver. Besides, thinness of the semen and diseases of throat are also corrected.

Lie on your stomach keeping both the hands below the shoulders while the feet are joined at the back. Then slowly breathe in and lift your waist upwards and backwards as much as possible, this asana creates the shape of a snake with the body.
Trikon Asana
Standing straight, keep a distance of approximately two feet between the legs. Then first turn to the left side with the right arm stretched over the head and touching the right ear. Try touching your left foot with the left hand. Then repeat the same process in the right direction.
Surya Mudra
Here, the ring finger is made to settle at the root of the thumb, with the thumb exerting a little pressure on the ring finger. As this alignment tends to increase warmth in the body systems, it is generally recommended to be practiced for fifteen to twenty minutes daily.

Why does it make the body react so strongly? Though we don’t want to look at it that way but Alcohol is a drug, a depressant that will naturally trigger the body to treat it as an intruder and try expelling it.
Alcohol is absorbed quickly in the bloodstream and blocks the pituitary gland from producing vasopressin, the hormone that maintains your body’s water absorption and hydration levels. In the absence of vasopressin, liquids travel quickly to your bladder resulting in excessive peeing experienced during a boozy evening. If you think that the liquid in the alcohol will fill in the void, it sadly doesn’t work that way…in fact you lose about 4x more liquid than you gain leading to dehydration.
Makes you think.. what does dehydration and headaches have in common? Dehydration leaves the battlefield open for organs to start the war for limited water sources and your poor brain loses the battle, leading to brain shrinkage (try solving the crossword during a hangover ;)). The membranes that connect the brain to the skull get pulled in the process leading to literally “tearing” pain.

Drink responsibly: Don’t have more than 2 drinks in 1-2 hrs and no more than 5 drinks in one night.

Intersperse with water: Have a glass of water between each drink to dilute the alcohol in your body. A glass of water with every beer is a good metric.
Avoid dark drinks: Choose beer and clear liquors (vodka or gin) and avoid malt/dark liquors (whiskey or rum) and red wine that contains tannins which increase the hangover severity.
Stick with non-carbonated mixers: Carbonated drink mixers accelerate alcohol absorption. So stay away from them.
Go slow: Sip and never gulp your drinks, to slow down alcohol absorption.

Myths and Legends to cure a Hangover:
Some of the widely used, traditional hangover “cures” (calling them myths or legends would be better) really do little to relieve symptoms and some of them can actually make the situation worse.
Replenishing lost salts through Sports Drinks: Yes you do lose water and salts (electrolytes) with the excessive urination but it isn’t so much to binge on sports drinks. Drink water instead.
The Morning Drink: Hangover is the worst when blood alcohol levels come back to normal levels, ideally in the early morning. Pouring yourself another drink is just postponing the ticking bomb and actually making it more lethal as your liver has more alcohol to work with now. It’s only going to make the impending headache worse and make you an addict.
Black Coffee: The caffeine will provide short term relief from symptoms of fatigue and headache (by constricting blood vessels) but its diuretic effect causes more dehydration. Drink water to fill the gaping hydration hole or try tea with/without lemon.
Pain Medication: Taking acetaminophen (Tylenol) at bedtime normally fades its effect in the morning, when the hangover is the worst. Also its impact on an overworked liver can be devastating and can cause permanent liver damage.
Eating Burnt Toast: Mistaking burnt toast as a form of “activated” carbon is plain foolish. So if you expect that the carbon will filter the toxins from the alcohol, it ain’t gonna work.

Natural Cures to beat a hangover:
The only real cure for a hangover is time. If no more alcohol is consumed, hangover symptoms should subside between eight and 24 hours. There are some things that can be done to relieve some of the most severe symptoms.
Water – Dehydration causes irritating headache, dizziness, and light headedness. So drink water with alcohol and in the morning.
Eggs – Eggs contain cysteine that breaks down acetaldehyde in the body, and provides relief from hangover-causing symptoms.

Chew ginger: Boil 10-12 pieces of fresh ginger root in about four cups of water and add the juice of one orange, half lemon and half cup of honey. Ancient but works even today.
Sleep: Restorative sleep is known to provide the body with best support from a hangover.

Avoid the Addiction and Seek Advice:

If you can’t remember what happened while you were drinking, or if you get hangovers on a regular basis, you may have a drinking problem. Talk to someone about getting help.
Even without treatment, a hangover should last no more than 24 hours. If you’re still feeling bad after that, call a doctor.

Introduction:

They also had a 44% improvement in flexibility and 76% less pain through their range of motion. No adverse side effects were reported.
To further support the safety and efficacy of NEM in osteoarthritis, a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial was conducted involving 67 patients with osteoarthritis of the knee. They received either 500 mg of NEM daily or a placebo. After only ten days, those receiving NEM supplements had a 12% reduction in pain and 17% less stiffness. At the end of the 60-day trial, those receiving NEM had an average pain reduction of 15%, and 31% less stiffness. One third of the patients receiving NEM experienced a reduction in pain of 40% or greater, and more than half had at least 50% less stiffness. No adverse side effects were reported.

New Data:

A new study was conducted at six different clinical sites throughout Germany to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of NEM® for the relief of the pain and discomfort associated with osteoarthritis of the knee and/or hip.
Forty-four patients were treated with a daily dosage of 500 mg of NEM®. Clinic visits were scheduled for subjects at study initiation and at 60 days following the onset of treatment. Statistical analysis revealed that supplementation with NEM® produced a significant pain relieving effect within 10 days. On average, nearly 1/4th of the subjects experienced a 30% improvement in pain-related questions within 10 days and almost 20% of the study population experienced a 50% improvement in pain-related questions by the end of the study (60 days). Significant improvement for stiffness was noted at 30 and 60 days after treatment.
An indication of the pain relieving effect of NEM was a drop in analgesic use. For the 30 days prior to study commencement, patients consumed on average 7 doses of acetaminophen. Analgesic use had dropped considerably to 2.43 doses per 30 days after 30 days of supplementation with NEM®.

You will adhere to a very simple and strictly controlled diet and sip hot water continuously. You will take complete rest at all times and will continue on a light program and simple diet for several days after the Panchakarma is completed. Special yoga poses are also recommended for this period to assist in the movement of toxins through the digestive system for elimination. Daily detailed reports are kept and given to the physician. How does Panchakarma remove excess Doshas and toxins?

Panchakarma is an intense detoxification program, breaking toxins and forcing them out as rigorously as possible without creating too much of discomfort. However, there is some discomfort nonetheless and this will vary according to the individual. The first 2-3 days there will be some disturbances because there is a kind of a shock to the system and some of the symptoms of detoxification such as bloating, headaches, skin eruptions, nausea, tiredness etc. may be experienced. TRIPHALA AND CHYAWANPRASH-

Triphala Vs Chyawanprash – Which Is The Right One For You?Triphala and Chyawanprash are two great Ayurvedic medicines. They both rejuvenate body and hence useful for anti aging purpose. But one has only three ingredients and the other has 37+. One requires just five minutes to prepare (powder the three and mix), while the other requires one full day. So how to decide which suits whom? Let’s find out.
Nourishment Vs Cleansing (detoxifying) - If you are particularly looking for cleansing and detoxifying, Triphala is more suited. I am not saying that Chyawanprash is not cleansing (please take your gun off my head :) ) Of course it does cleansing as well. But because it contains ghee, sugar, raisins etc, it is more nourishing than cleansing. So, if you are looking for nourishment and rejuvenation, go ahead with Chyawanprash.
Dosha imbalance - Both are Tridosha balancing, no doubt. But Triphala balances Kapha and Pitta Dosha, more and Chyawanaprash balances Kapha and Vata Dosha, more.
Where Triphala holds a slight edge over Chyavanprash -
Diabetes - If you are diabetic, taking Triphala makes more sense than taking Chyawanprash. Chyawanprash contains sugar. If the diabetes is well under control, then taking Chyavanaprasham does not do any harm, but still, taking Triphala is safer and makes more sense.
Eye care - It does not mean that Chyawanprash will not help in eye care. But if you are targeting specifically your eyes, then Triphala makes more sense than Chyawanprash.
Wound care – Again, Chyawanprash is helpful, but Triphala is more helpful in non healing wounds. It is useful internally, in the form of powder / capsule / Kashaya. Triphala Kashaya is also used externally for washing wounds, to do sitz bath in piles, fistula, etc.

Chronic skin diseases – associated with itching, scaling, secretions etc, Triphala is more suited.
Obesity - Because Triphala does not increase digestion strength to that extent as Chyawanprash, and because Triphala doubles as mild laxative and has cleansing property, it is more suited in obesity.
Where Chyawanprash is more suited than Triphala -
Respiratory disease, asthma, cold cough - The first benefit of Chyawanprash enlisted in the ancient formula is – useful in Kasa (cough, cold) and Shwasa (asthma, wheezing etc).
Digestion boost – Chyavanprash contains spices like long pepper, cinnamon etc which are very useful for boosting the digestion strength.
Lean and weak – If you are underweight with loss of appetite, then look no further than Chyawanprash.
Too young and too old – Chyawanprash can be given in very minute dose to kids above 3 years of age. It helps immensely in keeping the cold, cough, anorexia away. Similarly, it is more suited in very elderly people who are weak due to severe degeneration.
Aphrodisiac – Apart from being a good anti aging medicine, Chyawanprash is also very good to improve sexual health.
Improvement in skin complexion – It nourishes the skin, so improves skin texture and complexion.
Memory and Intelligence - One of the important benefits of Chyawanprash as quoted in the traditional formula is – improvement in memory and concentration.
